About
I lead with product strategy — then I build the thing.
I started maltifudge.co on a simple idea: the best product work happens when strategy and execution live in the same head, not handed off between a consultant who writes the roadmap and a dev shop that builds it. That's still the only thing I optimize for.
Our story
One person, two disciplines
I started maltifudge.co because most product work I saw fell into two broken patterns: consultants who hand over a roadmap and disappear before it's tested against real code, or dev shops that start building before anyone's validated what's worth building. I wanted to close that gap myself.
My background is in product management and product strategy — the parts of the job that decide whether a team is building the right thing, not just building things right. maltifudge.co is where that expertise meets hands-on delivery: I still write the roadmap, but I also ship the product it describes.
I'm early in building this practice, and intentionally so — I'm staying hands-on and taking on a small number of engagements at a time, rather than scaling into a studio I'd have to manage instead of work I'd get to do.

What I believe
The principles behind the work
Outcomes over output
I measure success by the business result, not the number of tickets closed or features shipped.
Radical transparency
Shared roadmaps, open documentation, and regular updates. You always know exactly where the project stands — because you're talking directly to the person doing the work.
Strategy and execution, one owner
No hand-off between the person who plans the product and the person who builds it. I stay accountable for the roadmap and the code, so nothing gets lost in translation.
Built to last
I write the specs, code, and docs I'd want to inherit — decisions that hold up long after the engagement ends, not just until the next sprint.
The person
Meet the founder
A hands-on product strategist and engineer who leads every engagement personally — from roadmap to shipped software, no hand-offs.
